Try our Anderson Valley Estate Pinot Noir vertical. This vertical contains one bottle of each of the following vintages: 2013, 2014, and 2015.
2013 Classic Series AV Pinot Noir (90 pts Wine Enthusiast)
Our single vineyard Pinot Noir, which is grown in warm days and foggy evenings of the Anderson Valley, opens with aromas of mint and rose petals. Bright strawberry and plum flavors lead into allspice in the middle and a long Christmas spice finish.
Almost like liquid cherry pie—but not sweet—this medium-bodied wine smells like the red fruit and baking spices, and tastes fresh and juicy with both red and sour cherries. It has good heft on the palate due to firm but light tannins and supportive acidity for balance. JIM GORDON
2014 Candelabra Pinot Noir
Aromas of Elderberries, tart fruit, cinnamon, and graham cracker are followed by cherry cola, Christmas spice & Velvety rich fruit. All this with a nice finish of figs, cola, and toasted honey biscuits.
2015 Classic Series AV Pinot Noir (91 Pts Wine Enthusiast)
Our single vineyard Pinot Noir, which is grown in warm days and foggy evenings of the Anderson Valley, opens with aromas of cinnamon and graham cracker. A sweet, tart cranberry entry, leads to a spiced middle of cloves, pushing a long berry cobbler finish.
Interesting earthy, barnyard aromas and focused, red- and black-cherry flavors give this wine an old-school style. It's medium to full bodied, has a good little touch of tannin and lively acidity for structure. JIM GORDON
